NIADOC Week is here! 🖤💛❤️ It kicked off yesterday and runs until July 16. It's a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich heritage and invaluable contributions of First Nations people. Region Canberra has published a great list of events, so dive in!
I'm excited to take you on my second Virtual Tour, this time exploring Gunners Place (Gungahlin Youth and Community Space). If you're running a program or service in the Inner North or Gungahlin and would like to showcase it, I'd love to hear from you for a future tour!
Lastly, I recognise that this is a challenging time for the early childhood sector. Please look for details about the free Child Safe Webinar from ELM in our "Service Updates" section. The "In the News" section also addresses recent traumatic events; please note that some linked articles may contain sensitive or triggering content.
I hope this week’s update is helpful to you. Don't miss out on future Northside news – subscribe to the blog and check out the Northside Network website.
Northern Region Network Meeting (NRNM) - Rescheduled
The NRNM, initially scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, has been cancelled.
However, I am pleased to announce that the event has been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The time and venue remain the same.
I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause. This adjustment is necessary due to a conflicting training that both I and the co-organiser will be attending.
Thank you for your understanding and continued participation.
If you haven’t already, register your attendance via Humanitix.
